Comparing

Scotland is one of the tree main regions of Britain.
It ocupes one third of the total land area in Britain. They are 5,144,200 havitants. Most people visit the countryside. Scotland has got some unusual traditions. Scottish men sometimes wear a tartan rather than a trausers. There is a traditional Scotish sport called higland games. Scotland is famous for its wisky. Wisky is a strong spirit made from barley yeast and water.
Catalonia is one of the seventeen main regions in Spain. It ocupes 16% of the total land Spain. They are 7,354,411 havitants.Most people visit Catalonia. Catalonia haven't got any unusual tradition. The tipical dance is Sardana.Is faumous for its beaches and barcelona. The traditional drink is ratafia and moscatell. They are alcolic drink

Transport


1.8 million people travel into the center of London by train every day. London Underground is a big train station opened in 1863 and usually called the Tube. In London also there are a double-decker buses and the famous buses called bendy buses . Also a lot of people walk in London. The car isn't a good type of transport in London because it does traffic.

Medicine


Most of the time we feel well. We can play sports go to work and enjoy our lives. But sometimes we just don't feel well. What's happens then?
The NGS has sent every body in Britain a Self help guide. You may need to go to the chemist to buy cough mixture or pills for a headache or there are lots of medicines you can buy in the chemist. But for more power foll ones likes antibiotics you need to have a prescription. If you can't to a doctor there a two other NHS services you could try. But many people prefer alternative medicine.

Horror


People like to be scare. They love reading horror stories and watching horror movies. Some of the most famous horror stories were written by British writers. The first was published by Mary Sheley in 1818-Frankenstein. Then, Jesus Franco made "Dracula contra Frankenstein" in 1970. Count Dracula was a vampire created in 1897 by the Irish writer Bram Stoker.

Computers


Computers are now a very important part of the life in Britain. Many people have got a private computer. Young people love playing computers games. Computer will control the way we live, in ''clever homes''. They can adjust the temperature; close the blinds, act for a burglar alarm and even turn on the oven. There will be television and internet socks in every room.

The law

the most famous police station in Britain is New Scotland Yard in London.
For most people the police are he face of the law. They can arrest people in the street but they also give information.
In the custody room the suspected criminal are charged with a crime.
Next they take finger points to cheek the person's identity. They also take mouth swabs for analysis of DNA. Suspects cabe kept in the cells at the police station for several hours. The polices station in Law is ham has got stables for police horses.
